I want to reply to Regina's note about Stephanie's dreadful bee sting. For years and years I was under the impression (from Stephanie) that the hurt leg came from my cigarette which fell and burnt her when I fainted. Its nice to know that I'm not responsible for the dreaded hurt. So Regina, I'm with you, first I heard of the bee.

Also just another remembrance of that wonderful day. If my memory serves me, Bob bled all over Brent and Mary Anne's brand new car when Brent took Bob to the clinic. Nice way to christen the new vehicle. I'm not sure the Flethers ever got the bood stains out.

One more trip down memory lane of that fun day at the lake. When Gene got into the boat after a bad fall and said to me " I think something's wrong, will you look Sue?" And it looked like the alien coming out of his chest, I think I deserve some credit for NOT fainting then. Ok, is this when we look back and laugh??

Hey there Bob,
Gina and I have moved to Texas since we last saw you, but please know that we're thinking about both you and Sue a lot.
Please stay strong, and kick some ass on the poker tables!

Bob & Sue,
Hello. I hope things are going ok for you guys. I read Stephanie's note about the lake trip and the resulting visits to the ER for you and Gene. I remember that afternoon vividly, although I don't remember Steph's dreadful bee sting. Well I just wanted to add my two cents and say that we are thinking about you and truly hoping your chemo treatments go well. "BLOG"...another four letter word I can add to my vocabulary. Nice.
Take Care

Good Morning, Skip,
I liked your message about old friends who are thinking about you because we really are. It's been awhile since we have all been together but that doesn't change how much we care.
I love all the messages from your friends in warm places! Did they all make lots of money gambling and have retired to Florida? Guess I should start going to the casino with you...maybe you could teach me a thing or two!
Sounds like you have a rough time ahead of you with round two of your chemo. As always, we will be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

Bob --

Here is a report from the "not so good condo" --- it is cold, rainy, overcast and Chuck is wearing long pants and a jacket. Now I know that it is hard to be sympathetic with a 13 degree temp and snow falling but it is all relative! Debbie is right - the Mentgens came and broke the long, dry, sunny warm spell we were having.

Take care!

Bob -

Hi! Here is an update from the "not so good" condo --- it is cold, rainy, overcast and Chuck wore long pants and a jacket today! Now I know how cold it is in the Midwest but it is really chilly here. We even turned the heat on in the condo! Debbie is right that they did help us break the long dry spell but....enough is enough!

Glad to hear that this week is still OK for you!!! Take care.

Hi, Bob! Down here in rainy Florida, checking up to see how yesterday went for you. No golf today...it was thundering and pouring at our appointed tee time. So I guess we'll just eat and drink. We came to town to help them break the long dry spell. Talk to you soon! Debbie M

Bob,

Do not worry about not being able to go to Florida, I REALLY enjoy the cold weather. In Dallas this year we have had more snow and ice then I can remember... Granted I am the only one that enjoys it here and the ONE sand truck that Dallas and Fort Worth share is certainly getting used this year! Hopefully your treatments on round two will come and go before you know it. I am sure you will need to gets lots of rest inbetween them and you can go back to your job when they are over. As far as the Bronco's, well hopefully you can still fit in your ole Bronco's clothes... Lord, I could now be a linebacker for the Cowboys... It must be all the What-a-Burger because it certainly could not be the beer, vodka, or scotch that I seem to be warming up with lately!

Hang in there and tell Sue and Kelly hi for me!
