So Ellen tried to post this the other day, but I think the site went down. I love you both and I'll see you this weekend. Dan

Bob and Sue,

“Swim between the flags!” That’s what they tell swimmers to do here at the beaches Down Under, to help keep us safe from sharks and difficult waters. I found a good picture of a sign saying as much, as well as of the extremely stylish uniforms lifesavers have to wear here (think red speedos with red and yellow beanie-caps). The pictures would have helped the story if I only knew how to attach them!

I am really sorry I haven’t been able to meet you yet. Dan speaks so highly of you and has kept me informed of all the brick walls you continue to plow through. I’ve been a silent reader until now, but once you mentioned sharks… well, I just figured yet another person’s words of encouragement might help.

Keep swimming between the flags and hang in there. Your strength is amazing and it is good to see how many people you have standing by on beach patrol. In fact, I should see about buying some caps for everyone…

Hang in there,

Ellen

Heard you were in the hospital, we have the grandkids this weekend (Katie & Craig went to Las Vegas for their 10th wedding anniversary!), but can make arrangements to come sit with Sue and you if you feel the need to have some warm loving bodies close to you.

Bob & Sue
Hope that you had a better weekend than week and that chemo sabe has finally figured out where he needs to do his work. Thank goodness for the pills that ease the side effects.

Thinking of you often and saying prayers that you feel better soon. Lots of love. Pat

Bob & Sue
Sounds like you guys are on a roller coaster, ups & downs. Hopefully this week will be a lot better than last week and the new meds will help with the bad side effects. The weather people say the next couple of days are going to be wonderful (warmer than some places in Florida). I'm trying to put their prediction of flurries this Friday in the back of my mind. Hope they are wrong . Thinking of you guys a lot. I'll write again later.
Love,
Regina

Hello Bob and Sue,
Was very sorry to hear the latest about your miserable reaction to your chemo Bob. I'm glad Sue is taking such good care of you and also happy there is a pill to give you some relief.

Its going to be 77 degrees out tomorrow so I hope you can kick back in the warm sun and feel better, while chemo sabe kicks some butt without your noticing so much. Bob and I are thinking about you often with positive hopeful thoughts and prayers for improvement to come. Lots of love and hugs too. Steph

Bob and Sue,
I check the blog often and was not happy to read this latest installment. I am sure that you do feel "sucker punched"...medicine that makes you feel awful and some to make you feel better.
Your thoughts about Spring are right on and just feeling the warm air and sun will certainly give you a lift.
Looks like I need to ramp up those prayers so that you are feeling better soon,
Love to you both,
Mary Anne

Bob and Sue,

"Swim between the flags!" That's what they tell swimmers to do here at the beaches Down Under, to help keep us safe from sharks and difficult waters. I found a good picture of a sign saying as much, as well as of the extremely stylish uniforms lifesavers have to wear here (think red speedos with red and yellow beanie-caps). The pictures would have helped the story if I only knew how to attach them! :)

I am really sorry I haven't been able to meet you yet. Dan speaks so highly of you and has kept me informed of all the brick walls you continue to plow through. I've been a silent reader until now, but once you mentioned sharks... well, I just figured yet another person's words of encouragement might help.

Keep swimming between the flags and hang in there. Your strength is amazing and it is good to see how many people you have standing by on beach patrol. In fact, I should see about buying some caps for everyone...

Hang in there,

Ellen
