Chemo Sabe Gone

Went to the Dr this morning and I feel like I have lost a friend.   Chemo Sabe and I are no longer a team.  A  week from today we will hook back up, but for now, no sabe.

I have really been feeling good lately.  Sort of scary.  Once we got rid of the pnemonia (probably not even close on the spelling) I feel as good as I did before the treatements started in early January.  I want all of you people to know that you have played a big part in how good I feel.  Thanks again.

Thanks for the update! You were just about to get “wassup” message and now we know. Glad you are feeling good and will be unfettered for a week. It should be much easier to take a shower without your port hooked up to sabe!

What a wonderful message. I am so glad that you are felling better.
Are you going to “work” this week?

Our prayers keep coming,,,,,,,miracles do happen and there is no reason why you cant be one of them.

Sue, please give me a call and we can get together for a nice quiet meal and visit over a very large bottle of wine.

Keep up the good work Mary Beth

That’s great news that you are feeling so much better. Hey I looked up what kemo sabe meant back in the “Lone Ranger” days and it translates to “trusty friend”…how appropriate don’t you think? Looks like we’ve made it to spring & nicer weather. Tell Sue “hi” for me and I hope you keep feeling better & better.

    Bob,
Now that you are feeling so much better you can get back to your washing chores…Sue says you have been kind of slacking off! And maybe a little yard work…idle hands are the devil’s workshop, you know.
Hoping for nothing but good news from you…see you soon,
    Mary Anne

Such good news and nice weather, too! You’re always in my thoughts and prayers. Come fishing anytime, or for a drink, I’ll even bum a cigarette off you, but don’t tell anybody as we have all quit, sorta of.

    Bob –

Let’s tell the rest of the story……you also feel good this week because you won 1st place in the Poker tournament on Monday at Ameristar! That and parting will chemo sabe for a few days put you in a great place! However, the end of the story is…..what happened on Tuesday at the tournament? Not as good as Monday but I better be nice since you bought lunch for Sue, Chuck, and I after we all played the games for awhile. It was a fun day!

Take care and enjoy your week!

    Bob,
Oh, I see how it is…not your wonderful family and loyal friends or the good doctors and nurses…it’s all about the winnings!
Well, whatever it takes just keep on doing it!
I am off to Dallas to visit with grandchildren this weekend and hope to see you and Sue very soon.
    Love,
    Mary Anne

Good to hear that you are feeling better, sounds like you are back to work. That is good! Just to let you know that I sent a hand written note to Ralph K. for you on 3/5, the Monday after our visit with you and Sue. I located his address and a couple of phone numbers from co-workers. They were not working numbers so we will see if we hear from him.
We will talk to you later.
    Love, Dianne and Mike
