i’m home, part II

Nap is over,  gave myself my first shot couple of hours ago.  I am fairly well rested for now so I thought I would write another post.

Kelly and Ryan were here this afternoon and evening to help Sue get me settled in.  Hopefully I’ll be home more than 5 days this time.

Ryan moved my computer from “the cave” to our living room.  I now have a new work station.

After being in the hospital for a week  there is no way I can respond to all of your comments.  I really hate that because they were some of the best.  Glad Sue and Kelly kept everyone up-to-date on what was going on.  I will do a better job now that I am home.  It was really good to have the visitors that I had at St. Lukes.  It is amazing the part that you all played in the mental  healing process.  The people at St. Lukes were all fantastic as well.  The staff that I had couldn’t have been nicer.

My sister and brother-in-law came to town to see me from Springfield, VA and stayed at our house Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.   They brought my mother over from O’Fallon, IL  and she was here also when Sue and I had to blow out of here Friday morning.  It was very nice to see them.  Can’t say I was much of a host to leave them the way I did.  Sorry.

This post isn’t making a lot of sense to me so I think I will say bye for now.  Hospitals really have some good drugs.

I’ll do another post real soon.

Glad you are home and you sound great…..Did Sue learn the shot thing yet? I guess she knows how to do shots, its the injections that she needed to learn. Keep up the good work and I will be in touch Sunday or Monday. I am going to the Lake with my mom and sisters to stay with Hanks sister for the weekend.

Lunch is in order or maybe I will need to go to work with you next week. I do have to be a “poll person” on Tuesday so we will figure a time to get hooked up.

Lots of love to all of you Mary Beth

As Dorothy would say “there’s no place like home”, and I’m sure you agree. Take Care

Glad you’re home. It was good to see you Friday. After our conversation today I’ve officially named Rick’s shoes the Marquis shoes.

Bob and Sue, Hank and I just returned home from our Aruba Honeymoon and we were thrilled to hear that you also returned home. Glad to hear that you overcame yet another battle. We’re thinking warm thoughts for you and your toes! Hope we can get together again soon!
