I came across this quote today and it seemed really, really timely. I hope this isn't a "downer," I don't want it to be, I just want to remind Bob how much I love him. It's true, when we're around each other we go right back to where we've always been - except he can't beat me up anymore.

"The quickness with which all the “stuff” from childhood can reduce adult siblings to kids again underscores the strong and complex connections between brothers .... It doesn’t seem to matter how much time has elapsed or how far we’ve traveled. Our brothers bring us face to face with our former selves and remind us how intricately bound up we are in each other’s lives." - Jane Mersky Leder

I must admit that I checked the blog a number of times this weekend and when there was no update, I thought no news was good news, I guess not, but glad he is back home. Way to go with the shot thing, I don't think I could do it, I always looked away when the kids had to get shots.

Sue,
I was so hoping that you all had an "uneventful weekend" but I guess that wasn't to be. I am glad that Bob is at home now and resting and getting his strength back.
Take care and I will talk to you soon,
Love to you both,
Mary Anne

Good Morning!

Sue -- I hope that you were able to get Bob awake yesterday for the Cardinals pre-game show. That was fabulous with lots of Cardinal history and players shown. But then there was the game which was not so good. That probably put him back to sleep.

Congrats on the shot - I knew that you could do it!

We keep sending positive thoughts your way!

Hey Sue,
Congratulations on the shot thing. I am in awe! I just talked to Will and he brought me up to date. I would love to come to see you both if it would not be too awkward or strange. Bob still happens to be my favorite brother-in-law. I miss you both. My prayers and thoughts are with you.
With love,
Ginger
