I just called the Valentines to see if I could come over later this afternoon and bring a check for Sue (I owe her some money from an outing last week). Turns out that Sue was at the dentist but Bob chatted with me for awhile. I told him why I wanted to come....he thought that was a good idea since Sue was driving around St. Charles County looking for me and her money. His sense of humor is definitely intact!!!! Plus at no time in our 15 minute conversation did he tell me to just forget paying her back and keep my money. See... I think he has some stuff pretty straight -- at least, the money part!!!!
